Employment: Full Time

The Senior Purchase Executive will be responsible for overseeing and managing the procurement process for the company's automotive and distribution operations in the UAE. This role requires a strategic and analytical mindset, as well as strong negotiation and relationship building skills.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely acquisition of goods and services
- Identify potential suppliers and maintain a strong network of vendors to ensure competitive pricing and quality products
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure the best possible deals for the company
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast future needs to maintain optimal stock levels
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their procurement needs and provide support and guidance
- Conduct market research to identify new trends and opportunities in the industry
- Oversee the entire procurement process, from sourcing to delivery, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies and procedures
- Manage supplier relationships and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise
- Monitor supplier performance and take necessary actions to improve delivery times and quality of products
- Ensure all procurement activities are in line with budgetary and timeline requirements
- Stay updated on industry developments and changes in regulations related to procurement
- Mentor and train junior purchasing staff to ensure their professional growth and development.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a procurement role, preferably in the automotive or distribution industry
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with procurement software and systems
- In-depth knowledge of the procurement process and best practices
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proven experience in managing supplier relationships
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Knowledge of Korean, Chinese and Japanese is a plus.
