Senior QA/QC Electrical Engineer

Job description / Role

- In-charge for overseeing all Electrical QA/QC work
- Ensure the electrical work carried out is as per approved shop drawing and within the time frame and progress of the approved construction program.
- Coordinate with client for inspection activities issued RFI (Request for inspection) for witness/hold point.
- Ensure that the installation, inspection and testing of all the electrical/mechanical equipment, fittings and work implemented meets the specification and the consultant requirements
- Report deviations from approved plans and specifications
- Verify the accuracy of shop drawings and their compliance to the specification, consultant’s design and existing local authority standard.
- Proactively supervise the closure of NCRs, suggesting innovative ideas for improvement.
- Coordinate with other project personnel to ensure that deadlines, procedures, and other project requirements are met.
- Prepare all necessary documents and attachments for the inspection and testing requirement

Requirements

- 7+ years’ experience working as a Senior QA QC Electrical Engineer for an MEP Contractor, Subcontractor, etc…
- Hold an Bachelor Electrical Engineering
- GCC/Middle East experience is a must.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
