Senior QA/ QC Engineer

Job description / Role

- Implementation, operation and maintenance of the quality system on all project sites, and establishing inspection and testing processes.
- Verifying that the company quality policy is fully understood by all project staff.
- Identify areas of improvement and initiate improvement actions.
- Ensure that all contractual, company and local authority requirements are considered in the project quality documentation.
- Ensure that the contractual quality requirements of a project are fully communicated to all key personnel, so that their roles in fulfilling these requirements are fully understood.
- Review and control the distribution of the Quality Management System Procedures, Quality Manual and related procedures for project sites.
- Generate project specific quality plans, method statements, work instructions, inspection and test plans (ITP’s).
- Ensuring adequate training / awareness of site staff and labourers on quality system.
- Prepare periodic quality control reports and highlight areas of concern.
- Ensure that all non-conformance issues, are promptly investigated, corrective and preventive actions are proposed / implemented and are quickly closed out.
- Ensure that all subcontractors' quality systems and plans are acceptable to the company as applicable to the "Project Contract", and implemented effectively.
- Provide feedback regarding suppliers’ and subcontractors’ performance.
- Liaise with Third Party testing laboratories and ensure all testing is performed in accordance with ITP’s, and reported in timely manner.
- Ensure that the calibration of all inspection, measurement and test equipment is conducted according to the defined procedure.
- Liaise with the Clients quality representative, to ensure that all potential and actual quality issues are fully resolved.
- Ensure Customer Satisfaction is monitored / measured and improvement / corrective actions taken for weak areas

Requirements

Senior QA/ QC (Civil) Engineer required urgently with UAE Experience.

- Candidates must have 6-8 years’ experience in Quality.
- Candidate with strong traceable experience in Finishing works with Villa Project.
- Only Villa Project experienced to apply
