Senior Registered Nurse - DHA

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Registered Nurse with expertise in IV therapy and injection administration to join our esteemed team. The ideal candidate will possess more than 5 years of clinical experience and hold a valid Dubai Health Authority (DHA) license. As an IV Therapy and Injection Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality care to our patients while adhering to the highest standards of professional practice.

Responsibilities:
- Administer medications, fluids, and therapies following established protocols and physician orders.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatment, adjusting therapy as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on proper medication administration techniques, potential side effects, and self-care measures.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Uphold strict adherence to all relevant regulatory standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Salary:
AED 6,000 to 10,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with a specialization in IV therapy and injection administration.
- Certification in Intravenous Therapy (CRNI) is preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to staying current with the latest advancements and best practices in IV therapy and nursing care.
