Employment: Full Time

We are looking for a Senior Sales Director to drive the growth and success across all the Middle East markets and manage a growing team of Sales Directors in the region. Sector focus is consistent with my client’s company strategy and covers Government (Law Enforcement, Customs, Borders, Intelligence, Ministry of Interior and other government criminal justice agencies) and Commercial markets.

The role is responsible for the leadership and management of the ME and Africa sales team selling the clients full range of intelligence-led analytics, investigative case management, and risk and threat assessment software solutions, but also carries its own sales target as my client expands into the region.

THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Achieve the agreed upon revenue and profit targets for the region for each period (year/quarter)
- Implement company programmes to effectively, attract, retain, compensate, coach, appraise, performance management and train sales personnel in order to grow the sales team and sales revenue as agreed and targeted
- Manage the sales team to maximise sales revenues and meet company objectives and targets.
- Work closely with the VP, EMEA and rest of my clients executive team to establish realistic sales targets individually and collectively for the territory to inform corporate strategy, drive growth and shareholder value
- Adopt, shape and define the clients sales strategy to the local market and industry sectors
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure sales and marketing materials inc. key messages are aligned with the region and territory sales strategy
- Promote and develop the sales process within the sales team inc. territory plans, CRM, monthly dashboard, opportunity reviews.
- Act within defined approval levels for pricing of products and services and coach sales individuals through commercial and negotiation aspects of a sales process.
- Represent my client at conferences, speaking engagements and similar, and as required work with media.

Requirements

- Experience of personally delivering to a sales target and managing a sales team in the designated market and sectors – Government (Law Enforcement, Customs, Borders, Intelligence, Ministry of Interior and other government criminal justice agencies), and Commercial, ideally both
- Performance management of sales staff
- Experience of solution selling (combination of software products and services) including those relevant to my client
- Proven track record of winning or delivering substantial profitable sustainable deals, and meeting or exceeding sales targets over a number of years
- Experience of shaping client requirements and developing business cases whilst managing complex multi-level stakeholder relationships
- Proven ability to work in high performing teams interacting with customers and developing new business solutions
- Negotiation skills – proven record of designing and execution of complex multi-part negotiations
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
