Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Oversee equipment and material preservation and maintenance requirements to ensure the prime contractor is performing the activity while in storage.
- Verify and ensure KEPCO has included all NQA-1/ or KEPCO codes and standards in instruction manuals with its sub suppliers as per NQA-1-1994 2.20 requirements to maintain adequate protection of equipment while in storage.
- Participate with NCR/CAR initiation and resolution to expedite closures.
- Expedite closures of conditional releases and OS&D’s in order to facilitate ongoing activities.
- Assist with the oversight of the prime contractors transportation and heavy lifts program and activities to ensure requirements of safety and quality standards are met.
- Ensure QA program and procedures are being followed to maintain quality standards.
- Review supplier’s instruction manuals for completeness and accuracy.
- Ensure all hazardous material (HAZMAT) are well documented by suppliers
- Review engineering NPCMS / SAP / in order to ensure all the data is included on maintenance and action cards (MAC) aligned with the NPCMS and instruction manuals.
- Verify inspection times and activities are completed and provide independent report analysis to facilitate informed decision making.
- Interface with the prime contractors on a daily basis.
- Attend safety training to ensure awareness of all safety standards
- Feed-back lessons learned to book of knowledge (BoK) in order to ensure information and knowledge sharing.
- Undertake the required ASME trainings in order to ensure field expertise.
- Undertake HAZMAT training to ensure awareness and ability to operate and work with hazardous materials appropriately.
- Facilitate communication both internally and externally in order to build and nurture mutually beneficial working relationships.Follow all relevant company’s HSE policies, processes, procedures and instructions to ensure HSE compliance in all aspect of work in accordance with sound management practices.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have minimum of 10 year’s relevant experience in maintenance preservation as well as experience in a material management/ procurement/ contracts/ transportation position on EPC of nuclear power plant. Previous work experience with major EPC nuclear international companies is preferred.

Desirably the candidate must have bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industrial plant work experience as a supervisor. Must have extensive knowledge in the use and application of electronic material management systems, engineering procurement experience to ASME 3 / 8 / 9 and the ability to write management procedures, good English writing and oral skills and reporting skills.
