Senior Sitecore Developer

Job description / Role

As a Senior Sitecore Developer, you will work on a range of Sitecore projects for highly recognisable brands, with the support of Sitecore team and Project Managers.

We are seeking a Sitecore expert and a problem solver. We require an individual with strong analytical thinking, backed up by demonstrable problem-solving experience.

Exposure to other .Net CMS would be advantageous, though you will be offered a training in other CMS, to facilitate your career development.

We are seeking a confident communicator and problem solver who is professional and courteous, proactive and can get things done. You should have a proven track record in medium to large website projects based on Sitecore (Helix principles); experience with SXA is a plus.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience building Sitecore websites (MVC), with 3+ years as a Senior Sitecore developer
• You should have proven experience with Sitecore 8.0 +
• You should have proven expertise with various advanced Sitecore customization techniques, i.e. Jobs, Scheduled Tasks, Pipelines, Commands etc
• Strong Knowledge with Sitecore Infrastructure and deployment process for scaling environment (Content management, content delivery, xConnect, etc.)
• Must have be able to explain the Helix principles and have experience working on sites built using these
• Must have good knowledge and experience with SOLR Search and MongoDB; experience with either Unicorn or TDS is a plus
• You should have at least a basic working knowledge of CSS/HTML and JavaScript.
• Ability to freely communicate in English (both verbal and written communication).
• Attention to detail and quality is a must
• Sensitivity to usability and design is a big plus.
• Mature responsible outlook, ability to work independently when required, good attention to detail, proactive and an enthusiastic team player.
