Senior Software Engineer - Aviation

Job description / Role

- Having Technical in-depth knowledge should produce optimum design and Solution Architecture for Projects Identify and conduct Proof of Concepts and should be highly proficient in the usage of design tools and frameworks.
- Lead and define system architecture for the application within the boundaries of the enterprise architecture
- Identify system functionality, and map functionality to software components.
- Having in-depth knowledge of design patterns and decision making ability on when and why to use specific patterns.
- Liaising with the group for getting approvals on design and exceptions if any.
- Understand and address non-functional requirements in system with an optimum design Build, maintain and spread best practices in system architecture to design engineers.
- Should mentor and groom system architects/ design engineers in the assigned project Ability to build something innovative and new in technology Review and Modernize the framework/tools and technologies to increase developer productivity and increase quality of deliverables.
- Enable technology learning sessions
- Provide inputs on establish a technology career plan that aligns with the groups roadmap.
- Promote self learning and technology innovation via innovation lab and other forums.
- Work towards a ‘all in one’ engineer who can analyze a business requirement, build design alternate, code and unit test, deploy and support the application.
- Promote enhancements through the community of Practice

Requirements

- Minimum 9 years Experience in Web Services implementations using Java and XML technologies.
- Experience in using XML, XQuery, XPath, and XSLT
- Experience in using SVN/Git.
- Experience SQL/PLSQL and DB technologies
- Experience in using Application Servers e.g JBOSS, Tomcat
- Understanding and experience of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)

Required Technical Skills:
- Java JEE 6, XML,XSD.
- Web service development for IBM WebSphere Application Server V7.
- Extensive services development using protocols (SOAP,REST,JSON,JMS)
- Java Parsing (Regular Expressions)
- EJB 3.0
- Web Service XML binding framework ( JAXB , Apache Axis2)
- Database – Oracle
