Job description / Role

The Role
- To be an expert at Android applications developed by DarkMatter, including KATIM Messenger and KATIM Email
- Troubleshoot problems with Android applications
- Create problem reports and troubleshooting documents
- Work closely with development teams to identify and resolve technical problems
- Develop and lead training classes to educate customers
Requirements
Skills
- 4+ years of experience as 3rd level support
- 4+ years of experience with Android applications
- Advanced analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Extensive experience with the following technologies:
- Android operating system and frameworks
- Android security including key storage and lock screen
- Android application life cycle
- Android multi threaded applications
- TCP/IP networking, wireshark, trace-route, nmap
- Client-server debugging, including RESTful APIs
- SQLite, SQLCipher
- J2EE, JMS, JAX-RX, CDI, JPA, Servlet/Websocket
- Application log collection
- Application performance and memory monitoring
- Basic knowledge of Android development with SDK and NDK
