An excellent career opportunity has now arisen under Motiongate Dubai, IT Department as Senior Specialist Park IT Support. In this role you are going to lead the IT functions and responsible to deliver Amazing IT support and service delivery activities for Motiongate Dubai. Primarily responsible for ensuring IT SLA's [Service Level Agreements] with the business areas are met. Ensures, through timely service review meetings, that contractors and vendors are performing within the agreed service levels and/or OLA's [Operation Level Agreements] as laid out in DPR's underpinning contracts. You are required to provide application and technical support to the various business operations & stakeholders across the park such as park operation, retail and F&B and others. Subject matters expert on park systems, applications and hardware.

Main Duties

- Delivering IT support services to all various business operations such as Park Operation, Retail and F&B business.
- Work and coordinate with IT team and service desk team to develop and improve IT services delivered to business operations.
- Able to resolve technical issues on any hardware and peripherals and software implemented within the parks.
- Single point of ownership for effective provision of systems and services to customers.
- Proactively improve the service delivery.
- Managing third party vendor relationships, where applicable.
- Willing to train, educate and mentor other IT team members.
- Able to trouble shoot systems, network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
- Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
- Supporting the roll-out of new applications and systems.
- Offering business users appropriate support and advice.
- Managing crisis situations on site, with assistance of other IT teams, which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems.
- Support the park in various operation roles during busy days.
- Able to mentor and educate team members on technical matters.
- Any other duties as may be reasonably requested by the management team.

Requirements

Are You a Star?

In order to be qualified for this role you should possess the below criteria:

Essential:

- Minimum a Bachelor Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science and/or relevant field.
- Min 5 years of IT experiences, in IT implementation systems or IT support role in hospitality industries such as theme parks, F&B, Retail operations or hotels.
- Strong understanding of hospitality IT support and services.
- Monitor and maintaining good customer services standards.
- Able to mentor team members.
- Excellent skills in excels and power points.
- Strong understanding of hospitality IT support and services.

Desirable:

- IT Service Management (ITIL) qualifications and certification
- Microsoft and / or other industry certification (MCSE, CCNA etc)
- Professional Certification - project management (PMI/PRINCE2).
- Excellent skills in excels and power points.
- Strong understanding of hospitality IT support and services.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in software problem or technical issues.
- Have implemented hospitality systems IT implementation and strong IT support roles.
- Have involved in pre-opening of attractions/parks, F&B, retail operations or hotels.
- Have done daily IT support of F&B operation, retail operations, hotels or any other parks.
