Job description / Role
Charterhouse is exclusively engaged with a Global Aviation Organisation to assist in the recruitment of a Senior Specialist for Legal Affairs for their Dubai Office.
This role is heavily focused on commercial contracts and litigation. You will be expected to provide guidance and input in respect to various legal matters across the business. You will also be liaising with multiple stakeholders on complex business critical matters.
Responsibilities will include evaluating legal policies, managing complex business matters, reviewing risk management and developing a range of legal documentation as well as providing legal and regulatory training for clients.
Furthermore, you will evaluate liabilities, legal restrictions and risk of proposed transactions and practical legal solutions to meet company’s commercial needs. You will also negotiate value agreements, and implement company litigation strategy.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, the candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree and preferably be Common Law qualified with 6 years PQE. A strong commercial background is essential, with experience in corporate and contracts. Ideally you will have worked in Private Practice or/and have experience in the aviation industry.
The candidate must have excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal along with exceptional business acumen and stakeholder management. You should be able to work effectively within a team.
