Senior Structural Engineer – Water Infrastructure Design

JOB OVERVIEW:
• Lead and attend meetings with Clients and external stakeholders.
• Perform design of water retaining structures and buildings using the latest engineering software and design codes.
• Perform review of structural work performed by in-house staff and by external consultants.
• Supervise work done by junior staff and CADD personnel.
• Prepare specifications, design reports, proposals and other related documents.
• Conduct structural evaluation of existing structures.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Requirements
• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Preferably with Masters in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• At least 12 years of experience in Structural Design field.
• Preferably with at least 3 years of related experience in Gulf region.
• Extensive experience in designing water retaining structures such as waste water (sewer), storm water and irrigation structures such as pumping stations, reservoirs, and outfall structures.
• Experience in designing RCC and Steel buildings.
• Good working knowledge of ACI, AASHTO, Eurocodes design guidelines, and latest structural design software.
• Significant experience in utilizing SAP 2000, STAAD, ETABS and other latest software.
