Job description / Role
The purpose of this position is to handle all the VAT accounting, record keeping, monthly returns and monthly reports in line with applicable VAT laws. This role will support the Regulatory Accounting &VAT Manager in ensuring an efficient and effective VAT process flow in the organization. The role will work with all the relevant processes and process owners to ensure that the right VAT numbers come through from the processes and systems and compliance is achieved with the right level of details and highest level of quality.
Requirements
Minimum experience:
• 3-5 years of experience in VAT processes, preferably in telecom industry
• Excellent understanding of MS Office (Excel and Power Point) and Oracle Financials
• Data analytics experience (working with large data)
Minimum education:
• Minimum Bachelor degree in Accounting.
• Part qualification in Accounting; ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, etc.
Knowledge and skills:
• VAT, Financial Accounting
• Handling large data in Spread sheets.
• ERP knowledge
