Job description / Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of daily processes by developing process flows and performance metrics to continuously improve and refine treasury operations.
- Support and research cash receipts and disbursements reconciliation issues. Coordinate with reconciliations and/or Accounting groups on treasury or cash-related information.
- Support enterprise projects and initiatives by proactively identifying and incorporating new ideas that can improve funds availability, minimize operational risk and provide cost effective processing of cash management and treasury transactions.
Cash Management and Reports
- Forecasting of payment requirements
- Initiation of Fund Transfers
- Weekly Cash Projection and Reports
- Bank Exposure Report
- Bank Fees Report
Directly manages and accounts for all type of payments:
- Preparation/Review of payment inputs
- Management of duplicate payment controls
- Handling of queries related to payments
Bank documentation and Liaising
- Handling of account opening/closing
- Communicates with banks for any issues involving documentations, payments, collections, regulatory requirements, etc.
- Bank account maintenance at Treasury Vision system
Requirements
- Degree Holder in Commerce, Accountancy or any Finance related course.
- Holder of certifications/Qualifications related to Finance such as CPA, CMA, CFA, ACCA, etc.
- At least 5 years of accounting, treasury or credit control experience.
- Fluency in English, Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Skilled on the Microsoft office applications (excel, word, outlook, etc.)
