Job description / Role
We are currently working with an international automotive company based in Dubai who are looking for a General Services Coordinator who has strong experience managing large car fleets. We need someone who has excellent communications skills, someone who can work well under pressure and able to multi-task. This role is highly administrative and we are looking for someone who is able to commit for at least 2-3 years.
The scope of the role includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Liaise with employees and suppliers for car lease orders
- Discuss and confirm vehicle availability
- Liaise with Training Centre Technician to coordinate de-fleeting cars
- Responsible for registering / de-registering of vehicles
- Maintain master database with all information on each car
- Prepare reports monthly for HR and Accounts
- Be the first point of contact to suppliers regarding car accidents, traffic fines and also the first point of contact for staff regarding anything fleet related
- Participating in annual insurance renewal tenders
The holder of this position is responsible for their work and duties. There will be times you will have perform tasks out-with what is listed above but which are still nature to the role.
Requirements
- Fluent in English (native language must be English or European)
- Experience within the same role
- Familiar with UAE rules and regulations for RTA proceedings
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Education degree certificate
- Have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
- Confident user of Microsoft Office programmes
