Settlement Officer

Job description / Role

- Receive the invoices
- Study the files
- Follow up with the customers to provide the company with the needed papers to transfer the ownership of the vehicle (total loss cases)
- Issue all the Credit Notes and payment vouchers
- Close the files on the System or send them to the recovery units
- Receive all the cheques and distribute them to the concerned parties
- Properly educate the claims settlement employees in the policy terms and conditions
- Secure speedy payment of all invoices
- Secure the reception of the registration cards when settling the total loss cases
- Secure deductibles collection and discharge receipt
- Quantitative and qualitative analysis and report writing skills

Requirements

- Bachelor degree in commerce, insurance or law
- Minimum two years in the insurance field motor claims
- UAE National
- Communication, Confidence, Drive for Results, Openness, Proactively, Team Orientation, Trustworthy & Reliability, Holding People Accountable
- Computer skills specially excel
- Accounting skills
- Time management skills
- Negotiation skills
