Sharepoint Specialist

Job description / Role

This individual will provide technical leadership to the company for their SharePoint Services, focusing on strategic planning, design, development, implementation and execution of SharePoint initiatives.

The qualified candidate should be highly knowledgeable about SharePoint infrastructure design specifications, implementation of proof-of-concepts, and performance of infrastructure design reviews.

Responsibilities:
- Deploy and customize Collaboration, Meetings and Enterprise Site Collections, Templates, Sites, Libraries, Web Parts, Lists, Columns, User Groups, Directory and Views for Branding of SharePoint Portal
- Modify SharePoint templates
- Participate in design of business solutions
- Develop and test code for SharePoint applications
- Evaluate, test, monitor and maintain all components of and in support of the assigned platform
- Analyze system errors and work with consultant, IT and related business units to correct and/or assist in problem resolution
- Log and communicate all problems, resolutions and root causes to appropriate IT staff, management, and/or system users
- Ensure compliance with all established architecture standards, as well as follow the systems development life cycle and project management life cycle processes
- Manage user access/permissions and provide end-user guidance on SharePoint
- Build SharePoint sites, workflows and web parts

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in a related area or equivalent experience
- Relevant platform certifications preferred
- MCSD: SharePoint Applications Certifications desired
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as an administrator on a designated platform
- 5 years of previous support and/or development experience with SharePoint, IIS, Active Directory, JQuery, SharePoint Designer and InfoPath
- Experience architecting enterprise solutions using SharePoint 2013 in on premise, private cloud, and MS Office 365 environments
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics
- ASP.Net knowledge and experience is preferred
- Must display initiative and the ability to work independently while using extensive independent judgement
- Ability to work seamlessly within a team, as well as manage individual tasks
- Ability to rely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals
- Ability to influence others and foster a positive team environment
- Ability to liaison within IT, as well as to external business units

- Defines and coordinates SharePoint technical standards and best practices
