Purpose of this Job

The focus of the Lounge Rep is to represent the Al Fakher brand and products by creating strong business and personal relationships with lounge account owners and H00kah staff and while executing all aspects of Al Fakher’s lounge strategy (Territory Assessment & Management, In-Account standards, Events, Partnership Agreements, etc.). Success in this role is driven by serving as a local brand ambassador, creating mutually beneficial relationships with key lounge partners, possessing strong negotiation skills, and fostering a solution-oriented mindset.

Major Activities to Ensure Achievement of Key Results and Deliverables

1. Typical Field Agenda
a. Regular phone communication with local Market Head and Lounge manager/head
b. 9am-10:30am - Administrative tasks
c. 10:30am-6pm - Lounge visits and appointments: 8-12 accounts/day
d. 8pm onwards - Lounge night tours (6-10 accounts/night 4 nights/week)

2. In-Account Execution
a. Distribution and placement of Al Fakher core products
b. Training of lounge H00kah masters/staff in Al Fakher mixology
c. Visibility of Al Fakher products
d. Implementation of consumption activation programs POS and/or tools
e. Encourage the optimum price for Al Fakher products
f. Ensure Al Fakher products are listed on H00kah menus as per Al Fakher guidelines

3. Territory Management
a. Mapping of lounge universe within the specified territory per Al Fakher guidelines
b. Continuous assessment of geographic territory
c. Analyzes territory and account specific business to clearly understand key business drivers
d. Accurate categorization of lounges per Al Fakher guidelines
e. Excellence in KPI execution
f. Maintains lounge tracker complete with competitor activity as per Al Fakher guidelines
g. Manages local on-premise budget
h. Serves as the main contact point for his/her accounts 24/7
i. Works collaboratively with lounge key decision makers to implement strategies and tactics that drive the Al Fakher brand and volume
j. Proactively shares Al Fakher marketing activities to demonstrate key points of difference vs. competition
k. Routinely performs H00kah master trainings to ensure brand engagement & adoption
l. Maintains consistent communication and collaborative working relationship with key distributor personnel

4. Helps build and lives the “Al Fakher On Premise culture”:
a. Creates affinity for H00kah, the Al Fakher and products
b. Work lifestyle coincides with on premise H00kah culture
c. As a result of interactions with the person in this role, customers and consumers want to be associated with the Al Fakher brand
d. Has a deep understanding and passion for H00kah culture?
e. Develops deep relationships and mutual partnerships for Al Fakher and the lounges

5. POS
a. Ensures that the proper POS items are staged in the right accounts according to Al Fakher guidelines
b. Ensures all Al Fakher POS is clean and in proper working order
c. Has on-hand/in stock the appropriate POS tools and/or replacements at all times
d. Keeps track of POS placements per venue
e. Effectively negotiates and ensures all agreed upon components are executed within lounge Partnership Agreements

6. Relationship Building Activities
a. Routinely engages in activities to build relationships with key influencers in accounts and within the territory
b. Proactively searches for creative elements to add to supported events that drive Al Fakher’s brand image
c. Ensures activation around account and/or third-party events that take place inside lounges
d. Develops relevant industry relationships (H00kah community, promoters, etc.)
e. Develops and implements incentives and staff activities for key customers

7. Personal Habits
a. Professional & ethical conduct during all business interactions, including across all professional and personal social/digital mediums
b. Dresses appropriately during both day and night business
c. Punctual for all internal and external deadlines/appointments
d. Represents the brand consistently across all activities and mediums (social/digital, etc.)
e. Builds the image of the brand through Lounge Rep’s interactions, language and style
f. Clear and effective communication with Co-workers, customers, and distributors
g. Works as part of the team to ensure execution against key events/activities sometimes outside everyday responsibilities

Key Results and Deliverables (What Does Success Look Like)
1. Distribution of Al Fakher core products in all managed venues within the defined territory
2. Achieve territory execution goals
3. Deliver goals within established budget
4. Organized and on-time approach to tracking and managing the territory business
5. Decision makers and H00kah owners and staff view Lounge Rep as added value partner and resource
6. Al Fakher’s image is enhanced by Lounge Rep’s interactions, activities, management of accounts, personal style, etc.
7. POS is properly maintained and placed appropriately in all accounts

Salary:
USD 4,432 to 5,283 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

Education and Qualifications
University Degree preferred

Experience
Minimum 2 years sales/marketing experience.
Strong on-Premise industry knowledge and experience in “the scene”.
Understanding and passion for H00kah and H00kah culture
