Job description / Role
Our client are a reputable contractor who specialise in foundation engineering, ground improvement and onshore marine projects across the Gulf region. They are currently recruiting for an ambitions Site Engineer to join their team in Abu Dhabi, working on their ground improvement projects across the UAE.
As the Site Engineer you will have a knowledge of fundamental ground engineering concepts, practices and procedures with ability to apply them.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Mobilisation of the equipment & tools and allocating them according to logistic plan;
- Proper allocation of crew concrete, steel, vibro, bentonite works, etc;
- Responsible for the production target as per the POW (Program of Work) and site conditions;
- Develop and deploy an action plan in the event of any delays in production;
- Daily manpower and equipment planning according to task list;
- Execute production as per approved drawings;
- Participate in the safety meetings;
- Demobilisation of manpower and equipment according to Project Manager's instruction;
- Hand over of project to consultant/main contractor under Project Manager's supervision;
Requirements
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 4 years experience working on ground improvement projects across the Gulf.
