Job description / Role
Experienced Site Architect/Inteior Designer wanted by a global consultancy to deliver a multi-billion Dirham Retail Mall in Dubai, UAE. The role involves leading a large site supervision team, from site inception to completion of project.
This is a senior role and an opportunity to join our growing team in Dubai and manage a prestigious project, which is expected to enhance the commercial landscape of this vibrant city.
Requirements
- Architect or professionally qualified Interior designer with minimum 10 years site (minimum 5 years) and design office experience
- Good communicator, aesthetic sense, strong material knowledge, familiar with site fixations is essential
- One of his/her key responsibilities to engage and convince stakeholders (Nakheel senior management) in material approval process without compromising our design aspirations
- Good specification knowledge and guiding contractor in right direction
- Assisting RA on design coordination issues and providing necessary feedback to PD on contractual matters
- Experience on retail is highly preferred
- Good knowledge of the local market suppliers/ Manufacturers
- Good knowledge in shop drawings and detailing
- Good knowledge of the local codes and regulation
The selected candidate will be required to commence work on short notice and will be given a competitive inclusive remuneration package, commensurate with the candidate’s experience & qualifications.
