Providing material management oversight of the contractor and subcontractors activities to ensure site delivered materials conform in regards to material supply, adherence to contractual obligations, maintenance of QA standards and safety standards.

We are actively seeking a Site Material Technician to join our client based onsite near Abu Dhabi.

The contract will be for 1 year with possible extensions.

Key activities are:
* Oversee major equipment and material delivery discharge process.
* Oversee material receiving process
* Oversee material control functions
* Oversee material maintenance process and recording of stored goods
* Participate in DNR/NCR/CAR resolution in order to expedite closures
* Assist with oversight of the prime contractor transportation and heavy lifts program and activities to ensure requirements of safety and quality standards are met.
* Facilitate internal and external communication to build mutually beneficial working relationships

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have minimum of 2 years relevant experience in materials management/procurement/contracts/transportation position on an engineering, procurement and construction of a Nuclear Power Plant. Previous work experience with a major EPC Nuclear organisation is desirable.

Ideally a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of industrial plant work experience is preferred.
