Site Supervisor

Job description / Role

The Site Supervisor is requested to implement the operational planning of respective site assigned to him. Continuous supervision and control of the site. Resolve and report any difficulties with the services.

- Responsible for complying with the applicable HSE procedures, instructions, requirements, laws, regulations applicable to his/her job requirements;
- Responsible for reporting to his/her superiors’ occurrences, events, violations and acts that may affect the environment, health, safety, ethics and company reputation;
- Responsible of working ethically;
- Performing other related duties as assigned or requested.
- Take immediate corrective actions if any non conformity observed or reported
- To give proper guidelines and instructions to the concerned drivers
- Optimize the utilization of vehicles & manpower
- To monitor the Customers’ sites when required
- To get signatures on vouchers when missing
- Ensure use of PPE and safe work environment
- Assist & advise the collection teams facing any difficulties
- Coordinate with the Operations regarding any requirements
- Maintain daily reports / checklists on all aspects of the job
- Study and suggest optimization possibilities & continual improvement
- Any other tasks assigned by the Operation Manager

Requirements

- Education: High School Degree.
- Professional Certification: Possession of, or ability to obtain environmental Certificate.
- Specialized knowledge: Operations , Manpower, & fleet management
- Skills: Multi-tasked, Problem identification and solving skills, Ability to make good decisions (judgment and common sense).
- Computer Skills: Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, e-mail, internet, etc.).
- Abilities: tackle tasks logically, and perseverance to see through all obstacles, ability to train others, schedule and assign work, prioritize and coordinate projects.
- Other characteristics such as personal characteristics: Cooperative, good listener, Ability to work a flexible schedule and to work evenings, weekends and holidays as requested.
- Experience: 3 years + in the same or similar field.

Working conditions:
- May work long and irregular hours, including weekends;
- Work in different sites (residential area, shopping mall, hospitals, etc…), and may travel around the country to work on different projects.

Physical requirements:
- Work out doors in all types of local weather conditions;
- Lift, push and pull equipment and/or refuse or other materials when providing assistance to employees in the field;
- Climb into and out of trucks and/or equipment;
- Work in and around dust, dirt, noise, and refuse;
- Walk on uneven terrain.
