Job description / Role
- Assist in the pre-construction management of the project providing the relevant base building review documentation for a better project understanding.
- Supervision and coordination of the on-site activities throughout the delivery phase of the project.
- Post-construction on site management of defects works, additional works and any further work requests related to the project on site.
- Reconcile architectural and MEP drawings against site conditions and the sub-contractors/vendors installation and report any findings/options to the team.
- Full compliance with the Company’s ISO management system procedures and processes from a site operation’s perspective
- Enforce rules, regulations, and procedures in accordance with local/International standards
- Manage daily the on site construction progress which includes coordination of site workers, contractors, suppliers and the like
- Report to the Site Installation Manager on a regular basis
- Attend daily and weekly site meetings
- Monitor contractor compliance with site deliverables inclusive of programme, cost, build ability and health and safety compliance
- Undertake detailed site measurements providing supporting information to the design team for review
- Monitor and evaluate labour performance
- Delivery of a high quality finish
- Ensure best practices HSE site compliance at all times
- Ensure the project is delivered on time and to budget
- Prepare snag and defects list.
- Provide on site post construction completion management for any further additional works, defects or the like
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years in turnkey interior fit out
- Interior and/or joinery knowledge
- Experienced in reading and interpreting detailed shop drawings
- Strong time management
- People communication skills
- Driving license
- Computer skills (Word & Excel)
- Able to travel within the UAE
