Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The primary focus of this position is to manage S&OP Demand, Supply and Initiative processes, ensure demands are incorporated, stock delivered and customer service maintained.

The role is accountable for maintaining confidence, credibility and coordination between the Planning, Sales, Marketing, Production, R&D and Finance.

- Develop consistent processes and implement best practices for critical elements.
- Implement Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) activities and process input to include all sites and all markets.
- Prepare all S&OP supporting materials.
- Manage monthly S&OP process and action plans, issue resolution and tracking.
- Drive accountability and process improvement based on key performance metrics and targets.
- Support inventory strategies toward inventory optimization through effective S&OP execution.
- Incorporate new product planning into S&OP process.
- Serve as the regional contact for the Corporate S&OP process
- To establish and maintain strong lines of communication for sourcing streams to other departments.
- Ensure demands are received, variances validated and quality data entered in central planning tools on time. Provide insight to demand evolution.
- Be the first point of contact for all issues related to sourcing of product.
- Provide regular updates on available products and support to add appropriate new products (new product requests).
- Be the first point of contact for new product requests (NPR) and manage code creation and discontinuation processes.
- Review and optimize Portfolio in line with Strategic goals.
- Develop and maintain a rolling forecast and drive the entire forecasting process for the entire business.
- Protect the financial performance of the strategic business unit by identifying potential supply chain issues.
- Drive the monthly S&OP meetings.
- Participate in the financial budgeting process.
- Advise sales and marketing of variances between existing forecasts, plans and actual.
- Coordinate new product introduction in supply chain by setting desired business system planning/demand parameters and initial stocking quantities.
- Assist in development and implementation of key performance metrics for materials organization.

Requirements

- Minimum of 3 years experience in supply chain related function(s) FMCG/food processing
- Excellent relationship management, influencing and communication skills
- Strong sense of customer service, and analytic skills
- Awareness of supply network, supply capability, systems and processes
- High level of proactively, tenacity and resilience
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field required; MBA preferred.
- Balancing, operations management, production control, inventory management or master scheduling experience required.
- Experience in the implementation of a formal Sales & Operations Planning process.
- Experience with an ERP system (Inventory, MRP, ASCP, Demantra/ODP)
