Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The social media executive will work in the marketing department, report to the social media manager, and have the following responsibilities:

- Manage multiple online brands in real time.
- Monitor and respond in a timely manner to ensure consumer engagement across social platforms.
- Ensure social media campaigns are kept up to date including events and images, and optimised with relevant and engaging content.
- Be a constant source of fresh and innovative ideas.
- Ensure brand consistency in all online communications across different markets, while monitoring online conversations about the company, brands, competitors, and related topics.
- Develop relationships with key online influencers relevant to the brands across social media platforms.
- Work within agreed standards and guidelines for all brand communications to ensure consistency and level of quality and objectives are achieved.
- Assist the social media manager in the development and implementation of social media promotions to build brand loyalty and attract new consumers.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, media studies, social science, or other relevant field or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 12 months marketing and social media experience, preferably in content and community management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Working level proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- Experience in using multiple social media platforms including Facebook, Google Plus, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, and Instagram.
- Knowledge of Photoshop and video editing tools.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to multitask and work independently using own initiative.
- Have a thirst for exploring new technologies, which can be used to add value to existing and new communities.
- Ability to work in a team internally and externally to develop ideas, create engaging content, and execute communications on various social media channels.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Engaging and creative writing style, with the ability to adapt content for different social media platforms.
- Flexibility to work beyond regular working hours to support business objectives.
- A keen eye for detail is essential.
- Enthusiastic attitude and ability to work under pressure.
- Blog writing skills.
