Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a rapidly growing media organisation who is commencing a new data architecture / integration project. Our client is urgently looking to hire a Software Engineer, specializing in Big Data Solutions to join their team.
Your main responsibility will be to build a robust database architecture based on MongoDB. You will be dealing with millions of data transactions on a daily basis, therefore you should be familiar with this type of environment and be able to execute high performance database queries on MongoDB.
Additionally, you should be familiar with Web Attacks on MongoDB and be able to provide a bullet proof database design. Exposure to Hadoop, PHP, and Cloud Computing technologies, this would be advantageous.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a Degree in computer science or a related discipline. You should have a minimum of 5 years experience within software engineering, with at least 3 years in Big Data. It is a requirement that you have worked with MongoDB for at least 1 year and are able to provide confirmation of working on such projects.
