Employment: Full Time

Solutions Delivery Controller - Infrastructure and Facilities (12 Months Contract)

The purpose of the role is to successfully manage the end to end delivery of the assigned business IT projects ensuring it is on time and on budget. You are expected to effectively plan and execute all project lifecycle activities including (but not limited to):
- Integrated business-IT project plan creation and maintenance
- Requirements gathering
- Solution definitions
- Systems integration across internal and external suppliers
- Risks and issues management
- Testing
- Production handover
- Resource utilization/time management
- Business change activities
- Stakeholder management
- Project communications

- Coordinate with all involved parties including business stakeholders, IT departments, and external suppliers (including off the shelf system suppliers, service providers, offshore providers).
- Perform a continuous assessment of risks and issues on assigned business IT projects and mitigate them to minimize impact, ensuring solutions are delivered within the agreed parameters and achieve the agreed benefits.
- Ensure solution testing follows a methodical approach and is coordinated with all relevant parties to ensure it is performed at all appropriate stages of the project and is conducted comprehensively, and that testing results are properly approved.
- Be responsible for financial management of the assigned business IT projects and ensure all costs incurred are effectively tracked and accurately reported to project stakeholders.
- Drive business benefits realisation and return on IT investment by ensuring all aspects of business change and transformation relating to assigned business IT projects are effectively identified, planned and managed by or on behalf of the relevant business units throughout the lifecycle of solution delivery.

Requirements

- Airline domain experience
- Experience in managing multiple projects
- Operations Management experience
- AIS (Acceptance Into Service) experience
- Project management – specifically creating plans and driving delivery
- Minimum 8 years of specialist technical experience, ideally within a project based IT environment, during which it should include IT Project management (minimum 5 years), with a good experience to industry standard Project management and Development Life Cycles, Change implementation planning and management, Systems Development Management, PM tools, Application support & Business analysis, People management.
- Experience in IT project management in a CMMI environment will definitely be an added advantage.
- Excellent and assertive communications and influencing/negotiating skills ideal pre-requisite.
