Solutions Technical Engineer

Job description / Role

The role of Solutions Technical Engineer is to Increase demand for our products and services and to provide the best possible service to meet our customers’ satisfaction. With excellent communication skills, an abundance of knowledge and tenacity to solve every incident faster and better than before, you will be expected to make the difference in providing our customers with an unprecedented service experience and build strong trusted relationships with our customers and take service levels as a matter of personal pride.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for installing and configuring our printing software’s and enrolling customer’s end users.
- Responding to, and solving of, first and second line incidents.
- Ensuring the highest service levels.
- Support of current technologies and future technologies in a growing company.
- Troubleshoot technical error codes.
- Pick up support tickets.
- Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
- Document technical solutions.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of working practices and procedures.
- Contribute to the knowledge base.

Requirements

Ideal candidate will be familiar with print solutions industry and will have hands on experience with sales in the UAE.

- University graduate or postgraduate in Information Technology or computer Engineering or any relevant qualification.
- Language: Excellent English is a must. Arabic is strongly preferred.
- Past Work Experience: Must have at least 3 years work experience in this area.

Skills:
- Printing software’s, one or more of the following: SafeQ, SafeCom, Equitrac, MyQ, PaperCut and HP Access Control.
- Windows XP, 7, 8, 10
- Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012
- MS cluster knowledge.
- SQL Server desirable.
- Strong decision making and analytical skills (debugging).

Fluent Arabic speaker is highly desirable but not mandatory.
