Job description / Role

Our client is a well-known large organization based in Dubai having presence in Houston, London, New York City, and Washington DC with a long established background in Airline Accommodation and Corporate Hotel Accommodation field.
They have an opportunity for a highly skilled Sourcing Manager to focus mainly on to strategic sourcing, and to direct the activities of the division to ensure the achievement of respective targets and business plans which will require the full attention of a diligent and experienced Sourcing Manager.
Reporting Directly to General Manager / CEO you would be responsible for overall Development and implementation of Sourcing sales strategies, objectives and plans.
Having previously managed Sourcing specifically in hotel industry sector and be comfortable with planning required to meet the demands. Analyse and evaluate the effectiveness of sourcing, methods, costs and results to the company will be the successful candidates overall objective.
Responsibilities:
- Generates new leads in the hotel industry
- Maintain positive supplier relationships.
- Maintain the highest level of quality, professionalism and integrity when negotiating with suppliers.
- Negotiate all supplier contracts for the best possible prices and concessions in order to meet savings expectation on meeting spend.
- Keep vendors up-to-date on proposal status. Block appropriate space and release any space not needed on a timely basis.
- Keep abreast of new destination options, well-priced seasonal destination options and “hot date” offerings.
- Work independently in the absence of supervision
- Adhere to client compliance and performance management SLAs
- Qualifies proposals to determine if appropriate and competitive.
- Provides supplier with all appropriate documentation at sale notification including itinerary, supplier contracts, etc.
Requirements
- 3 to 4 years International Hotels sourcing experience
- Strong Negotiation skills
- Listen attentively
- Decision making ability
- Excellent skill in writing and spoken English is a must
- Experience in Travel industry and destinations knowledge
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
