Specialist / Consultant Oncologist Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Oncologist to join our prestigious healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert care to cancer patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Oncologist to make a meaningful impact and contribute to the advancement of cancer care in the region.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and stage cancer patients through physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for cancer patients, which may include surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and other targeted therapies
- Monitor and manage the side effects of cancer treatments, and provide supportive care to patients and their families
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, and oncology nurses, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care
- Participate in clinical research, trials, and academic activities to contribute to the advancement of cancer treatment and care
- Provide patient education and counseling on cancer prevention, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in oncology and participate in continuous medical education and professional development

Salary:
AED 45,000 to 95,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

- Medical degree from a recognized medical school and board certification in Oncology
- Proven experience in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of various types of cancer, with a focus on evidence-based medicine and patient-centered care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathetically communicate with patients and their families
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of oncology
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage
- Experience in clinical research and academic activities related to oncology is desirable
