Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job Purpose:

- Bridge operational and technical expertise and effective stakeholder engagement with the core planning and optimization mandate of the team.
- Conduct operational and economic analyses, optimizing value chain scenarios, and provide insights for decision-making.
- Support launching and monitoring the division's objectives and initiatives through efficient processes and tools (PMO style).
- Foster collaboration and offering execution support to enhance the organization's performance and achieve strategic milestones.
- Execute activities related to the department's objective of generating highest possible return across the supply chain at the lowest delivered cost.
- Support supply chain optimization of ADNOC's assets, to contribute in the maximization of ADNOC's profitability in close coordination with Business Line Group Company supply chain divisions, corresponding sales& Trading entities and ADNOC Group marketing and trading.
- Provide technical analytical support in the evaluation of new investments, JV negotiations, commercial terms, feed stock purchase strategies and marketing of products, pricing data base & market Outlook reports.

Key accountabilities:
- Provide operation and technical expertise to the model and planning team and facilities engagement and exchanges with site operations and assets technical teams.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between VCM&A and stakeholders, ensuring effective stakeholder management, information flow and compliance with established governance, processes and procedures.
- Contribute to the value chain optimization programs of all relevant group companies in close coordination with respective optimization committees ensuring the highest value generation within the framework of the respected shareholder agreements.
- Perform various economic & optimal scenarios ensuring integration with upstream and downstream assets.
- Analyze the optimal feed slates of the integrated value chain while considering ADNOC's overall interests and provide timely updates to leadership.
- Conduct operational reviews and process audits to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies, recommending improvements based on best practices.
- Manage systems and templates (PMO-style) to support launching, managing and completing major annual activities (e.g. Business Plan optimization), key annual objectives, strategic management initiatives, and provide execution support as needed.
- Contribute to the value chain optimization programs of all relevant BLGC companies in close coordination with respective optimization committees ensuring the highest value generation within the framework of the respected shareholder agreements.
- Analyze the optimal feed slates at all the refining and petrochemical assets while considering ADNOC's overall interests and provide timely updates to leadership.
- Support in the preparation, of annual plans, five year business plan with due respect to market conditions, assets performance and synergies across all related assets within and across countries.
- Perform various economic & optimal scenarios ensuring integration with ADNOC's upstream and downstream assets.
- Analyze ADNOC companies' annual, five-year business plans related to feed stock, products volume, marketing, profitability.
- Support in evaluating proposals for plant modification, improvements and debottlenecking using the LP tools. Provide to the management.
- Maintain updated LP models, simulation tools, pricing data and provide analysis on market and margin drivers.
- Perform periodic LP Audits & Update on industry trends and digitization support.
- Analyze blending opportunities across ADNOC sites and liaise with Trading functions for opportunity capture.
- Analyze and provide integration opportunities between value chain assets and flash updates.
- Support techno economic evaluation of new investments.
- Commercial support in negotiations for finalizing project licensors.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in chemical / mechanical / petroleum engineering or equivalent.
- 8 years of relevant experience within refining, petrochemical or gas processing plant operations.
- High level of relevant technical knowledge and application.
- Proficiency in stakeholder management and project management and coordination.
