Specification Manager

Job description / Role

• Listing Saint-Gobain products in the vendor list of main consultants (or identified one) in the mega projects.
• Providing consultants in the design phase of the projects, written specification tailored to match Saint-Gobain products’ features.
• Building the pipeline of strategic projects by targeting the key projects in the design stage.
• Passing leads to the salesforce through a close follow up of specified projects that went to tender stage.
• Promoting Saint Gobain brand and products to Specifier, developer and authorities.
• Providing the site support to the sales through reverse specification.
• Building a strong and long lasting relationship with the consultants (including event participation, lunch and learn and technical support)
• Participating in new product development by sharing latest specs and requirement to match the market needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or Business Administration or equivalence.
• Experience in a Supervisory / Managerial position.
• Good command of the Arabic and English languages.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good negotiation skills.
• Good analytical skills.
• Customer oriented and dynamic person.
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to cope with stress and meet tight deadlines
