Specifications and Sales Manager – UAE

Job Purpose:
The candidate is responsible to develop the Specifications and Sales of SageGlass electronically tintable glass working with architects, building developers, engineering consultants, facades consultants, and contractors in the UAE market. The candidate will work with the project stakeholders from the identification of projects in concept and early design stages through to winning the order. The candidate will have a strong contribution to achieve the Company objectives in the region.

Key Responsibilities :
• Identify and engage with potential customers and project stakeholders (architects, developers, façade and engineering consultants, and contractors) in line with the market requirements and the business strategy
• Understand the SageGlass Customer Value Proposition, and able to convey it to key project stakeholders based on clients specific requirements
• Specify SageGlass electronically tintable glazing solution to the key strategic customers and project stakeholders
• Provide product and technical guidance to Architects, Consultants and Contractors through presentations and meetings to develop the adoption of the SageGlass solution.
• Work collaboratively with the specification and architectural personnel at architects and consultants to ensure design-in of the SageGlass solution
• Work closely with the Architectural Solutions team to provide the best possible technical solution to the project stakeholders at every stages of the specifications process.
• Gather and provide all the necessary information to the inside sales team to prepare quotes , including glazing make-up and control system components, and ensure a smooth and timely ordering process
• Record and manage all projects, quotes and contacts in the CRM system/Project Database to ensure regular and effective communication across all relevant commercial and technical functions in the organization.
• Build long-term relationships with customers to gain knowledge of their needs for future projects and educate key influencers on construction projects about the proper use, advantages and value of SageGlass

Requirements

Skill sets:
• The candidate should have a proven successful experience in specifying high-end building products to architects, consultants, contractors and/or façade consultants in the UAE
• Established networks and contacts with the key construction project stakeholders in the UAE
• Motivated to produce results and capable of multitasking while prioritizing his/her work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Demonstrate an ability to learn quickly.
• Good balance of empathy and “win-win” negotiation skills.
• Has the skills to understand the customer’s requirements and a strong desire to please the customer.
• Excellent interpersonal skills (telephone and in person) and ability to interact successfully with all types of people regardless of education or stature.
• Focus on delivering results with capacity to demonstrate accountability and maintain high level of quality
• Focus efforts and attention on meeting customer needs and maintain balanced, long-term relationships and partnerships
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Capacity to take initiatives and maintain a proactive approach
• Supports teamwork to improve collective efficiency

Education and experience:
• Graduate in Mechanical / Civil / Electrical/ Architectural Engineering. Candidates with relevant experience may also be considered
• 3 to 5 years in specifications and sales of high value Construction Material or Building Envelop Products in the UAE.
• Fluent in English, Arabic an advantage
• Required to have a valid driver’s license
