HAAD/DHA Licensed Bilingual Speech Therapist

The American Center for Psychiatry & Neurology is looking for a professional Speech Therapist to join their speech therapy team in their Head Quarter in Abu Dhabi. The selected applicant will very good experience within UAE healthcare community.

Primary responsibilities include:
- To demonstrate clinical effectiveness by the use of evidence based practice and outcome measures as agreed within the department.
- To refer on to other services where appropriate, ensuring that consent is obtained from supervisor.
- To deliver care programs with other therapists or support assistants.
- To be responsible for collecting and submitting timely caseload statistics
- To contribute to the development of speech and language therapy within schools “when required”
- To attend case conferences/annual reviews with the advice/support of the senior therapist
- To communicate and negotiate with pupils, supervisor and other professional in a clear and concise manner.
- To maintain comprehensive and contemporaneous clinical records and reports in line with HAAD standards and provide assessment reports accordingly.
- To demonstrate commitment to continuous professional development and acquisition of up to date skills and knowledge.
- Responsibilities for who you are responsible and with whom you come into contact with.
- To carry a personal clinical caseload and be responsible for assessment, differential diagnosis, formulation of treatment plans, writing assessment reports, providing appropriate intervention and evaluating outcomes.
- Performing controlled therapy sessions with individuals, groups and/or families.

Requirements

- B.Sc. Degree in Hearing and speech Sciences, Master degree is a plus.1.Health care experience for not less than 2-3 years is a must
- Prior experience in UAE is preferable
- HAAD/DHA license is a must
