SQL Server DBA - Banking - Dubai
SQL Server Database Engineer with strong DBA skills required for leading Financial Services organisation based in Central London. The role has become available due to team growth showing success and expansion within the business.
The Database Engineer will be an experienced SQL DBA with excellent T-SQL understanding. Most of the work will centre on enhancing the existing SQL Server Engine (not boring Backups or mundane DBA tasks). For the most part the duties will include query plans/optimisation, execution plans, code review, performance optimisation, indexing etc. Mirroring, Clustering, log-shipping, always-on, High availability etc.
Requirements
Experienced SQL Server DBA. The Database Engineer will be an experienced SQL DBA with excellent T-SQL understanding.
Most of the work will centre on enhancing the existing SQL Server Engine. (not boring Backups or mundane DBA tasks)
