Job description / Role
Brief Description
Provides consultative support and technical expertise in IT& Digital Pre Sales situations. Manages the proposal composition for customer requests and major bids. Works in close coordination with Sales and customer business teams to provide consultation for their digital transformation, develop solution design for specific business needs that need to be addressed through IT transformation. Responsible for translating customer requirements, coordinating with internal departments and outside vendors to develop solutions and offerings that leverage Etisalat products and services to address these requirements.
- Identifies and clarifies customers current and future business initiatives and needs and translates them into technical requirements.
- Collects information from customer about their existing IT and telecommunications infrastructure and conducts analyses.
- Communicates with respective Sales to understand customers history, competitive environment, planned strategy, tactics and other sales activities.
- Understands customers digital transformation journey and creates opportunities to sell and position Etisalat products and services
- Has experience building solutions on public/private clouds as well as solutions based on Internet of Things (IoT) and machine learning.
- Understands SD-WAN and NFVtechnology and the value proposition the customer
- Ensure IT principles, technology standards and the best practices are applied when preparing bids and submitting technical proposals
- Researches software and hardware products or Etisalat services, and finds best solutions and prices to meet business requirements. Subsequently, present and translate the design to customers to ensure the solution will meet the customers' requirements.
- Ability to build different commercial propositions that would fit the customer need and the ability to identify to the customer the return on investment(ROI) of the solution on offer. Assesses price, performance and quality relationships for each solutions well as its total cost of use.
- Identifies current and future opportunities for cross and up-selling and proposes them to Sales.
- Provides technical advice to Sales & Customer and gives technical direction, guidance and higher-level technical support.
- Develops winning proposals for customer requirements/RFPs, working closely with Etisalat Product Marketing, Engineering, Contracts and external vendor partners. Carries out effective customer presentations to present solutions proposed.
- Supports Professional Services and Project Management teams and Etisalat contracts in developing project plans, negotiating and drafting scope of work and contract documents.
- Develops training and Conducts training sessions to sales on Etisalat Services and products.
- Presents Etisalat in technical and marketing events working closely with product marketing to present Etisalat products and services.
Requirements
Job Requirements
- Preferably UAE National
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering,Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
- Exposure to Private/Public Cloud Solutions, IoT deployments
- 3-5 years experience in presales, solution design & development.
