Employment: Full Time

Global professional service client in DIFC require an experienced internal Recruiter to join a busy growing team

Salary 25-30,000 AED

Duties:
- Identify and assign appropriate consultants to support all billable and non-billable work within the unit
- Proactively support pipeline development – put forward consultants to work on proposals, attend leads and proposals
- Manage proposal resourcing – understand the nature of the project and suggest appropriate consultants
- Qualify what proposals are more likely to be converted into projects (e.g. non-competitive proposal, project extension, etc.), what are the timeline and resourcing requirements
- When assigning consultants to projects, take into account the following criteria: availability, project type, scope and requirements, consultants skills, experience, capabilities, development needs and preferences, project officer / manager requests and preferences
- Work towards achieving and maintaining target capacity utilisation for the unit
- Supported by the finance team, perform regular PC recovery – investigate discovered deviations from staffing plan, authorise chargeback to the project, provided the consultant actually worked on it

Monitor of pipeline and availability, aim to optimise utilisation:
- Actively seek to export consultants when local unit demand is softening (reach out to the EMEA staffing team, staffing managers and known partners in other regions) Use associated consultants to get extra resources during unexpected peaks
- Build and maintain credibility and relationships with consultants, principals and partners to provide “better fit for the job”
- Work with consultants to understand their expectations and development needs, identify projects / PC opportunities to allow them to progress in their careers
- Seek regular updates on expectations / performance / development needs with mentors and partners / attend the appraisal meetings
- Seek regular feedback on completed project / proposal staffing how well staffing is working from project managers to ensure quality operations service
- Attend practice meetings to know the core team members across the EMEA and unit and to better understand the staffing requirements of projects that are on-going or in the pipeline.
- Understand each team member‘s core expertise and key skills
- Manage staffing information
- Update all staffing and availability information in the CPSS on a daily basis
- Encourage and enforce up-to-date CVs and other information
- Prepare and “publish” general weekly staffing reports
- Prepare once a month the unit revenue forecast
- Enter and update Leads and Proposal information into the Project Pipeline/CPSS
- Together with Junior Staffing Coordinator prepare the monthly forecast package
- Attend the monthly forecast call (with Finance, HR UH)
- Inform Staffing Director timely if actuals divert too much from forecast/staffing
- Liaise with HR and recruitment
- Communicate to the recruiting what skills, capabilities, expertise are in demand within the unit
- Understand who is leaving / joining and when, what is their skill set to better manage the pipeline and integrate new joiners into the project flow
- Actively engage with EMEA staffing team

Knowledge and skills requirements:
- Manage junior staffing coordinator
- Ensure competent and smooth resourcing of the Practice assignments across various units and support staffing of the core team members
- Identify appropriate managers and principals to support all billable and non-billable work within the practice – understand pipeline development – attend lead and proposal meetings
- Prepare the monthly Industry Practice Forecast Package and attend monthly forecast call • Participate in regional and global task forces to review policy, process or system changes

Requirements

- Reports to Unit Leader Middle East and EMEA staffing Director • Located in Dubai
- Undergraduate degree or MBA
- Must have an analytical background and be able to accurately forecast staffing requirements as well as link the right person for the right project based on correlating the needs of the project and the skills and experience of the consultant
- Proficiency in scheduling methods and procedures related to project work.
- Fluent in English
