Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Source, negotiate, and execute steel and iron ore trades in the Middle East and Africa region.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends, analyze price movements, and identify potential trading opportunities.
• Develop and implement trading strategies to maximize profitability and minimize risks.
• Manage logistics, including shipping arrangements, documentation, and customs compliance.
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and expand the client base.
• Stay updated with industry developments, regulations, and market dynamics.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth trade operations and timely delivery.

Requirements

• Proven track record in steel and iron ore trading in the Middle East and Africa.
• In-depth knowledge of the steel and iron ore markets, including products such as Rebar, Wire Rod, HRC, CRC, Billet, Lump, Concentrate, Pellet, and Fines.
• Strong network of contacts within the industry, including suppliers, customers, and logistics providers.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills to build and maintain relationships.
• Ability to analyze market trends, assess risks, and make informed trading decisions.
• Proficiency in trade documentation, logistics, and international trade regulations.
• Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business, economics, or similar) is preferred.
• Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Arabic or any other regional language is a plus.
• Flexibility to travel within the Middle East and Africa region, as required.
