Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Commitment to the Ethos at Emirates British Nursery.
• Ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times both within the Nursery and outside of the Nursery perimeters.
• Plan and manage the ordering of stocks in a timely and efficient manner to meet demand and priorities.
• Compile data from sources, such as contracts, purchase orders, invoices, requisitions and accounting reports, and writes, enters information into computer to maintain inventory, purchasing, shipping or other records.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any disparities in ordering process.
• Receive goods in and maintain appropriate control systems, dealing with any discrepancies in order provision.
• Create and maintain asset control logs to account for all equipment received.
• Develop equipment control and release processes maintaining records of characteristics of items in storage.
• Manage the release of stock to third parties.
• Develop and manage a central store of stock items.
• Maintaining stock spreadsheet and supplier stock sheet.
• Coordinating with Administration Manager and Coordinators in the procedure of stock requests and delivery.
• Liaise and manage perishables budget (including photographs for children’s Learning & Development Profile Books).
• Coordinate with Teaching Coordinators the monthly play dough ingredients requirement.
• Manage the request for staff Occupation Heath Cards, ensure all is correct and dealt with within the timeframe to ensure no fines are incurred.
• Maintain and update full staff list for HR related issues.
• Work with Headmistress to produce cost effective budgets for stock for all of the Nursery requirements, keep accurate and updated records to monitor usage.
• Attend Human Resource meetings with the Headmistress and ensure all records are updated.
• Provide Administrative support as required.
• Organise photocopying for Teacher Coordinator.
• Maintain OHC and municipality file.
• Produce a weekly maintenance list of nursery, ensure maintenance issues are addressed.
• Check classes daily at 9:00am and report numbers of children to Headmistress.
• Arrange refreshments for Headmistress and visitors.
• Any other tasks requested by Management.
