Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client, a major fashion retailer is looking to recruit an experienced Stock Manager based in UAE. This role will report to the Sales and Operations Manager.

Role Purpose:
- To accurately and efficiently control the movement of stock in and out.
- To completely manage retail and warehouse management systems.
- To be a part of the yearly financial stock takes along with the IT department

Coordinate with the accounts Department for the following:
- Handle all validation / original invoices / costing sheets / duty invoices in order to make sure validation value matches invoice value
- Prepare the end of the month summary with all validations
- Monitor stock transfer and movements in-out for all the stores and make sure the stock out invoice matches the stock in invoice
- Arrange summary of stock equations figures for Purchases / movements / stock transfers to tally
- Prepare monthly closing and opening stock per department/store (Purchases / cost of sales )
- Coordinate with the Sales and Operations Manager and the stores
- Plan for department stock take and prepare an overview report every month
- Negative stock and Generic codes to be reversed
- Prepare discount report, print it along with receipts and provide a copy to accounts
- Prepare the credit note report
- Check the daily sales against the accounts reports in order to tally them.
- Prepare manual entry of invoice.

You will also be responsible for stock at several warehouses ensuring all stock movements are recorded on Warehouse Stock System and also all stock in and out is managed correctly and accurately.

Requirements

- Good Education background (accountancy is a plus)
- Minimum experience of 7 years in a Retail environment – Stock Manager
- Leadership, communication, time management and negotiation skills.
- Fluent in English
- Team player, committed, flexible and friendly.
- Good in Numbers, back office skills and inventory/stock management
