Job description / Role
Luxury Retail client is looking for a Stock manager to accurately and efficiently control the movement of stock in and out.
- Monitor stock transfer and movements in-out for all the stores and make sure the stock out invoice matches the stock in invoice.
- Coordinate with the accounts Department for the following:
- Arrange summary of stock equations figures for Purchases / movements / stock transfers to tally-
- Prepare monthly closing and opening stock per department/store (Purchases / cost of sales
Coordinate with the Sales and Operations Manager and the stores:
- Plan for department stock take and prepare an overview report every month
- Negative stock and Generic codes to be reversed
- Prepare discount report, print it along with receipts and provide a copy to accounts
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in management or business administration
- Minimum experience of 7 years in a Retail environment – Stock Manager
- Leadership, communication, time management and negotiation skills.
- Good in Numbers, back office skills and inventory/stock management
- Team player, committed, flexible and friendly.
- Drive for results, Coordination skills, Responsible
