Job description / Role

Store Keeper / Receiving Clerk

To receive, store, issue goods and keep the stores and surrounding areas in a neat & tidy condition in accordance with the hotel policy & procedures and Municipality hygiene regulations. You should display an approachable and professional demeanour, with a blend of excellent communication to all guest, partner and supplier interaction.

What is in it for you:

- Ensure that all stock movements are accounted for and in compliance with hotel's policy.
- Issue and reorder stock and to ensure that no goods will leave the storeroom without proper authorized store requisition.
- Prevent loss, spoilage and breakage by carefully following the expiry dates of perishable items, monitoring the slow-moving items and keeping the store clean and tidy at all times .
- Ensure that all storerooms comply with management instructions and Municipality regulations.
- Responsible for all stores and receiving documentation.

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:

- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Must be organized and punctual.
- Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management.
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Previous relevant work experience.
