Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We are currently looking to hire Storekeeper to provide an efficient stores control function to Estates and landscape department. The incumbent will oversee material receipt, unloading, placement in assigned locations and all supporting documentation to support stores management and ensure that all critical spares and consumables are in place.

Role will be based in ADGM, Abu Dhabi and reports to the Procurement/Facilities Manager

Key accountabilities

Key Job Responsibilities

- Oversee material receipt, unloading and placement in assigned storage location.
- Check material received quantities and specification against order.
- Maintain stock level of materials to ensure continuous availability on all Estates Services.
- Maintain records in Concept system as per Projects procedure.
- Issue or distribute materials, products, parts to Estates team as required.
- Conduct regular inventory inspections
- Carry out all requests from the site management as required

Other Tasks

- Assist the project engineering team with Adhoc and Life Cycling project work.

- Attend all toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Adhere to all HSE requirements and Codes of Conduct of the company.
- Adhere to all Risk Assessments / Method Statements to ensure safe working practices.
- Exercise a personal duty of care for own and teams health, safety and welfare and for those affected by the acts or omissions and promote the same within their work area of responsibility.
- Use safety equipment (including PPE) as required and intended and observe that this is also enforced among subcontractors and third parties working in Serco's controlled premises/systems.

Requirements

Essential qualifications

Knowledge and Skills

- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- Completion of secondary or high school preferred
- Store management and Materials knowledge (technical)
- Computer literate

- 3 years relevant work experience

Additional / special features of the role

- The job holder will work mostly in an office environment with normal working hours as per company policy. Infrequent travel is required to support continuous development of programmes and services through benchmarking activities.
- Ensure compliance with the Serco Management System and all relevant business processes, procedures and work instructions to deliver all work with appropriate quality and governance standards
