Strategy Analytics Manager

Our client is an esteemed government organization in Ras Al Khaimah who is looking for a Strategy Analytics Manager who would be a key member of the Strategy Team dedicated to guiding data-driven decision-making processes, and developing comprehensive strategies to optimize budget allocation and resource management that align with the authority's mission and vision. The role drive the overall strategic and operational analytics.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage key analytics projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget execution while optimizing resource allocation.
• Lead market research and analysis, providing data-driven insights for marketing strategies, monitoring market trends and competitor activities, evaluating ongoing strategies' effectiveness, and delivering actionable recommendations to stakeholders. Maintain tourism statistics, identify best practices, and compare performance with industry benchmarks for continuous improvement.
• Assess marketing and tourism spend effectiveness, support budget allocation process, and lead budget optimization through data analysis. Utilize big data management knowledge to recommend strategies, translate insights into actionable recommendations, and collaborate with the marketing team to refine marketing plans
• Establish and enforce data governance practices, oversee data quality assurance, and identify opportunities for investing in analytics tools to enhance capabilities in tourism, marketing, and trade-related data management
• Lead assessment of co-marketing contracts and KPIs, develop and manage KPIs for marketing campaigns and trade partnerships, monitor performance metrics, and support Marcomm and DTD/MICE teams in implementing effective media plans and trade activities.
• Utilize market research to identify opportunities, design data-driven marketing initiatives, establish tracking mechanisms for KPIs, and present actionable insights to stakeholders for campaign effectiveness enhancement.

Requirements

Person Specifics:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field, advanced data degree is a plus.
• 5+ years proven experience in strategy analytics, ideally with a focus on the tourism or related industry.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing long-term data and analytics initiatives in coordination with high level stakeholders; strong project management experience to oversee execution of critical initiatives.
• Good understanding of the tourism and hospitality industry, including market dynamics, trends, and competitive landscape.
• Experience working with clients or projects in the tourism/hospitality sector is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to think strategically and create actionable plans to drive business growth and competitive advantage. Experience in conducting long term projections, data driven strategic analysis, and market research.
• Proficiency in data analysis and the use of data-driven insights to support decision-making.
• Proficiency in solving complex business problems and developing innovative solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
