Structural Engineer

Job description / Role

- Responsible for performing and checking all engineering activities and documentation for offshore platforms structures.
- Detailed design, modeling & analysis of fixed platform, process platform Topsides, Jacket, FPSO topside module, and subsea structures.
- Select and design the best technical solution relevant to offshore platforms.
- Follow up platform design carried out by sub-contractors.
- Coordinate design activities ensuring technical support during execution phases.
- Define tender documentation and carry out technical evaluation of tenders.
- Preparing civil / structural engineering design calculations and documents
- Ensure that the quality of design calculations and drawings produced are in accordance with the Project Execution Plan, applicable Project Procedures and Standards, Safety and Quality Control
- Preparing technical specifications for review and approval
- Preparing Material take off for cost estimate

Requirements

- Bachelor Degree in Structural Engineering or any equivalent qualification
- With minimum 5 years experience in offshore installation
- Familiar with SACS and MOSES software
- Highly motivated, well organized, resourceful and proactive
- Excellent report writing, communication and presentation skill and ability to interface with client
- Very good in using MS Office
- Good communication in English (Listening / Reading / Speaking / Writing)
- Able to work under pressure
- Flexible, diligent & productive
- Can join immediately
