Employment: Full Time

The Student Affairs Officer will work closely with all members of the Administration Office and will be responsible for managing all aspects of student related communications at CIS.

The Student Affairs Officer will play a crucial role in promoting CIS to prospective parents, students and within the wider school community, as well as maintaining the schools professional standards and image through effective channels of communication.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, education, or a closely related area;
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role;
- Experience in Marketing, Communications or PR role;
- Experience in website management: ability to update content;
- Fluent in English – Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor content and format to different audience needs;
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills;
- An eye for good design and attention to detail with the ability to produce well-formatted documents such as presentations, newsletters, prospectuses, reports etc.;
- Ability to work effectively within an ethnic, cultural and socially diverse student population;
- Excellent organizational skills: ability to set priorities and achieve them;
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to work with a committee or a team;
- Excellence in providing and modeling quality customer service;
- Must be friendly, approachable, personable and professional at all times;
- Ability to think “outside the box” and continuously develop communication strategies.
