Job description / Role
Our client is looking for a experienced candidate with the following prerequisites.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Promote, organize and execute an array of campus events, including but not limited to New Student Orientation, Club Fair, Global Day, National Days, and Got Talent, fostering a sense of unity and excitement within the student body.
• Curate and manage culturally enriching events that celebrate the diverse backgrounds and interests of students, contributing to an inclusive and globally aware campus environment.
• Arrange local trips, ensuring compliance with guidelines, and oversee travel logistics to provide students with enriching experiences beyond the campus.
• Supervise and facilitate student publications, promoting creativity and self-expression among students.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive training for student club board members, empowering them with essential leadership and organizational skills.
• Prepare and coordinate the production and distribution of materials pertaining to leadership development, promoting a culture of continuous growth and learning
Strategize and implement engaging leadership programs, activities, and workshops that foster personal growth and leadership insight among students.
• Facilitate opportunities for students to attend leadership conferences, seminars, and workshops, both domestically and internationally, broadening their horizons.
• Accompany students during off-site trips as required, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to Peer Leaders and Ambassadors, offering support in leadership development, self-discovery, and identity exploration.
• Oversee the Peer Leaders Program, aiding the transition of first-year students and their integration into university life.
• Research, design, and deliver workshops on leadership and self-development, equipping students with valuable life skills.
• Conduct thorough assessments of leadership initiatives, analyzing participation data, student progress, and program effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure robust media coverage of all events and programs, maximizing their reach and impact.
• Maintain meticulous records, including event proposals, budgets, contacts, contracts, media coverage, and evaluations.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management, offering insights into student engagement and program outcomes.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as delegated by the Director of Student Life.
Salary:
AED
19,000 to 27,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Requirements
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Master's preferred).
• 5-7 years’ experience in college student leadership, student activities, group facilitation skills, supervision.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
• Strong passion for student development and creating a vibrant campus community.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• High proficiency in MS Office and event management software
