Sub Contracts Engineer/Administrator

Job description / Role

My client is a leading EPC contractor who specialise in oil and gas and heavy civil engineering projects. They are currently working on some major oil and gas projects in the UAE and are looking to recruit experienced sub contracts engineers/administrators. The role will include the following;

• Procure Subcontracts as allocated by the Subcontract Manager and ensure subcontracts are delivered as per the Project Procurement Plan requirements (Time, Cost, Quality).
• Draft and negotiate relevant agreements (i.e. Subcontract or Services Agreement) in coordination with the Subcontracts Manager.
• Assist the Subcontracts Manager for all the post awards activities until the handing over of the subcontract works, including variations and claims management and drafting of the relevant correspondence.
• Ensure that Subcontracts are performed and delivered as per Project requirements

Requirements

• Candidates should have an engineering based degree such as electrical, mechanical, instrumentation or civil and should have a proven track record of working as a sub contracts engineer/administrator on major oil and gas projects.
• Candidates should have EPC experience as well as experience of working in the UAE.
