We are the largest oil producer within the ADNOC Group, accounting for over half of ADNOC's total oil production. As the country's oldest oil production company, our operations date back to 1939, when a 75-year concession was signed to explore for oil and gas in Abu Dhabi. As a global industry leader in environmental sustainability, we are the first in the world to capture carbon from the iron and steel industry. Our Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) facility at Al Reyadah has the capacity to capture 800,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) from Emirates Steel Industries (ESI) each year, for us in the Bab and Rumiatha oil fields to support Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR).

About the Job
- Supervise the activities of the production laboratory staff and provide support to the field operations on laboratory analysis and chemical treatments.
- Perform Export Crude Quality analysis & Certification as per the shipment documentation.
- Monitor, review and analyse ongoing work programs and set the work priorities in order to optimize manpower utilization, work methodology and efficient interpretation of field data in liaison with line supervisors.
- Plan laboratory schedules effectively to meet deadlines, supervise, train and motivate laboratory staff.
- Provide routine and non-routine analyses of oil, gas and water products.
- Monitor and perform the required calibration of all equipment in custody according to equipment specifications. Plan and control the availability of adequate spare parts, chemicals and materials.
- Develop new testing procedures and establish testing requirements as required.
- Maintain effective standard of customer services to end users throughout the course of work.
- Monitor that work is performed in a safe and environmentally sound manner. Conduct effective safety inspection and follow up on recommendations' implementation.
- Undertake Oil dispersant quality determination for pollution control.
- Undertake Ship ballast water oil content determination for environment pollution control.
- Generate laboratory reports.
- Participate and provide inputs for preparing yearly laboratory OPEX/CAPEX budgets and control expenditure
- Implement, enforce, adhere and follows ADNOC and International HSE rules regarding toxicity, storage and disposal of environmentally harmful and toxic wastes and working Laboratory environment.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements
- Degree or Technical Diploma in Science or relevant field
- At least 5-year experience as Laboratory Technician for core analysis in oil field or similar laboratories with 2 years Supervisory experience.
- Knowledge and application of international Standards and Guidelines for core analyses.
- Proficiency in working with Microsoft office and core data management I.T. systems.
- Ability to adapt to other relevant ACC developed software.
- Very good verbal and written communication skills in English with the ability to engage with team players.
