Job description / Role
We are looking to recruit an experienced Projects and Systems IT Supervisor to work within the After Sales Department. This role reports directly into the Head of MIS & IT and is located within our Parts Distribution Centre. The main purpose of this role is to manage all IT Projects related to the After Sales division, ensuring successful systems developments, rollout and training to improve business processes and efficiency whilst managing ongoing system maintenance and application support with the spirit of Kaizen.
The IT Supervisor will plan and execute IT projects from the business to ensure that new system development and change supports the business objectives. The role holder will plan and manage User Acceptance Testing (UATs) in collaboration with EIT and key business managers in order to assess if software can handle required tasks in real-world scenarios and will manage and document SOP changes based on system enhancements and new project developments.
Requirements
Ideally you will hold a Masters in Computer Applications, Bachelors in Engineering or equivalent and will have a minimum of seven years experience involving technical projects and system support. You will have the ability to keep track of multiple project schedules and change requests and conduct repeated follow up to ensure timely resolution of issues. You will have working knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems and will come from a project management background.
This role requires you to present information therefore you will have a sound understanding of the English language with strong communication skills. You will have an analytical mind with the ability to plan and organise multiple projects simultaneously and will approach all tasks with the customer in mind.
